rockyysdt Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I've been researching options for car hire so that I can tour the interior and visit my GF's village in Kham Tuk La. Car hire will be for two weeks starting in Pattaya and will choose a Honda Jazz for fuel economy. So far my options are: Budget = 17,990B with comprehensive insurance + 10,000B** excess & 700B for child seat ** Pay extra 2,800B for nil excess. Chalee = 13,000B with comprehensive insurance + 5,000 excess & free child seat. Only problem is that Chalee's Insurance Policy is written in Thai only. Chalee claim the policy is the same worldwide!! Even if it's OK, there's no way I can study the terms and understand my liabilty. Is it worth the risk for the sake of 4,000B? Are there other options? Danny
