If in LoS, I would think someone said "Chow, na ?" and would answer (politely of course) "mai ow khrap". In other parts of the world, I would probably duck-and-cover, then explain "no hablo englische" or "me no speaky english" (just in case it was someone the real Chownah owed money to or something) !
