Gps In Thailand?

Hi

I have a bluetooth GPS , can I use it in Thailand? WHat kind of software do I need?

I will use my GPS most of the time in Bkk - Pattaya area.

Sure can use, you will have to buy local maps though!

Most used are the ESRI maps.

Not sure where/how to acquire though, locally bought GPS units usually come with Thai maps, or the shop where you buy your unit can install them for you.

Not cheap since I recall the ESRI maps for Thailand are 7500 Baht!

My Mio c220 cam with the maps installed at 11,900 Baht total

So its more expensive to buy maps in Thailand than in Europe? Maybe theres other maps than ESRI that will work with my unit.
