For The New Sponsors Of Newcastle United

So as Northern Rock has been nationalised I guess that makes every tax payer in the UK an official sponsor of 'the Barcodes'.

You are, therefore, entitled to make your own conditions of sponsorship.

The only one that I can think of is that they play in the Scottish Premiership and change their strip to red and white stripes.

But I'm sure that others can think of things more imaginative. :o

As the "sponsors" of the club, I belleive that they should try to pressure the club into showing that equal rights should be promoted in football. Therefore, I believe Newcastle should have a quota on the playing staff of gays, lesbians, physically disabled, learning disabled and asylum seekers. Tony Blair should also become the next Manager.

Good to see taxpayers money being put to good use. :o

OK then. Anyone can join in as long as you have a healthy dislike of Newcastle, or/and have a good sense of humour or ( if you're West Ham ) hate every other team anyway. :o

To be fair, I think that they may have their quota of gays and lesbians already. :D

I think all Newcastle fans should take the 'Life In The UK' test. Even though they would all fail, at least the £35 fee could go back to the Tax payers :D

The problem is, that most of them are on benefits, so they wouldn't be able to afford it. :o

Sorry Lou, there's a little bit of banter in the football forum, which is all harmless fun. :D so don't take offence. NUFC, are the best comedy act in football at present.

If Newcastle were to sign some gays, lesbians, physically disabled, and asylum seekers, they might actually have more chance of scoring a goal than Alan Smith. A couple of lesbians in defence might actually toughen up the defence.

The only thing that Newcastle don't need are any more players with learning difficulties. Joey Barton fills that quota already. :D
