No team has a right to win based on reputation, and I can speak form experience of being a POM, but to be honest it was highly unlikely that Australia were going to romp home with a big victorry at Kalang given the general weather conditions of this time of year. Furthermore, Singapore are an improving nation, who are a pretty decent team at home. The Aussies, still haven't aclimatised to the Asian conditions and style of play yet, and could well regret their persistence in trying to qualify through the Asian route rather than the Oceaninc route, which although hard, condition wise and style wise may be more suited to the current crop of footballers.
