Kawasaki 175 Boss

Have run into one of those deals that I can't pass on with a 175 Boss. So ....before I get the "buy a bigger bike!!" thing going, I'll say that I will ride this bike and have ridden several of them through the years, both in Thailand and the P.I.. They are what they are and do what they do.

My question is simply "Does anyone have any first hand experience ,personal,up front and live experience of modifying these for a little more low end torque?" I am heavy and could use all I can get.If not, it's no big deal.I will ride this bike for about six months no matter who laughs at me.

You can change the gearing by changing the sprockets. I have not done this to my Boss as I am 65 kilo's & the power band is adequate, but have changed 4 other Kawasaki's in the states. Should be an easy fix!

Most major bike shops can get the drive & rear sprocket. The Thai factory is in Rayong.

Good luck

Barry
