Siam1fm - Patong - Phuket - Radio Station

Featured Replies

Used to listen to their three hour internet stream up until a few weeks ago.

Haven't been able to get the stream for about three weeks now - and for a few days now their website has been down.

They 'were' on FM100 in Phuket.

Anyone with any info? Thanks.

New English language radio station

Hi, we'd like to let everyone know about Siam1fm, on FM100 Mhz in Patong (until Jan 08 when it will be available isalnd wide) and streaming online from Phuket's only English language radio station... from anywhere anywhere in the world.

It is Phuket's first proper English language radio station, with native speaking DJ's and a wide variety of new and old music picked by people and not the random button on winamp.

The first live show is 'The All Day Breakfast Show' every morning from 8 - 11 am Monday to Friday. Far too early for most board members so we repeat it at 3 pm - 6, hence the 'All Day' bit. We will roll out more live shows in the next few weeks.

It remains to be seen whether our little island can support a commercial station but we are giving it our best shot and we hope you will enoy what we are doing.

We welcome constructive criticism and are very well disposed to having the local community involved. Submit any odeas to us via the forum or directly to our email from the website.

We have climbed a huge mountain to get this far and we appreciate any encouragement and support you can give us. It ain't gonna be perfect from the launch, but it is already quite a bit better than rubbish.

Get back into the radio habit with 1FM.
