I got the 2007 Boss 175 & I think any of the Honda or bigger shops all deal in Kawasaki. I bought mine from a Honda shop in Pattaya. The Boss's are assembled in Rayong & distributed throughout Thailand. Especially The Boss- Easy to get parts for(not an oddball or special needs bike). I think Chiang Mai will be the same as the Pattaya area. If you are looking for bags, Just about all the bigger shops carry the Phantom Honda bags or the aftermarket:

Enclosed in a Harley Davidson eagle look alike emblem 1800 baht or so,I got this brand for mine . the Phantom bags have a support & cost about 3000 baht. If you get the 1800 baht bags you should make a support to hold the bags up or your shocks will eat into the bags. The Phantom Bags hold the soft bags away from the shocks. Both about the same durability & looks.
