[The Vulcan]

Shot in Cha-Am (Hua Hin area) national park.

I went for the 3 stage viewing "steps" in this image i.e the foreground, the mountain and the sky as three levels of interest and focus. I preconceived the image in monotone and dialed in a deep red filter to render the sky. I also wanted to "compress" the view hence the choice of a telephoto lens.

Very nice indeed both technically and fore thought on composure. Now embarrassed to post any of my shots. It does tell me to think through composition more and play with my camera features more.
