Maybe you won't want them TP. I just talked to a friend of mine who has a Corvette in the US. He had a puncture and didn't know it. By the time he noticed it, the tire was ruined. It cost him $600 US for a new pair. $300 each. He said he couldn't see replacing just one. He did save the one that was still good in case he does it again and the wear matches.

Thanks for the heads up Gary.

17 inch run flats are standard on all new BMW's now, there is a computer link to the tyres so that you know when there is a loss of pressure.

I just want some bigger wheels.

Why bother with runflats? Just get 19 inch wheels and tyres, the runflats will almost cost double from regular tyres. Also 19inch is not produced in Thailand and will therefore be more expensive then all other sizes. I use 18 inch with normal tyres and carry a bottle of tyre repair foam in the car (available from carrefour & central brand: holts). Furthermore you will not be able to get any runflats outside of the bangkok conburi pataya area, so if you run one empty and damage it you have to wait for a few weeks. Even if they would be able to get the tires they probably don't have the machines to mount and demount.
