Anybody Know A Decent Frame Shop?

Featured Replies

Hi, I have some pictures, paintings & drawings that I like to frame in Teakwood... not the usual plastic stuff but the better quality frames.

Does anybody know of a good shop?

Thanks for any response.

Wilson July at the Royal Garden Plaza which is near to some photography store and opposite Jim thompson. It's more expensive than other stores but they can get it framed within a day and the quality of the frames are really a whole lot better than other boutiques you find along the streets.

There's a double shop on South Pattaya Road, before you get to Friendship Market, called Frame Cafe.

They do pretty good work. It's also a great place to have breakfast or coffee.

There's a well known framers shop at Soi 9, Beach Road, I believe it's called the Cop Shop :o

:D

Does anybody know where to get those frameless frames..not sure how to call that....

it contains of two glass plates that are clamped together with a metal holder. The backside can be also made from some compressed fiber stuff, not necesserily glass.

As for the glass plates no problem, you can get them cusdtom made at any window shop. But as for the metal clamps I found those so far only in Bangkok at Habitat (as complete set with the glass).
