Thanks. I know that this is a hostile forum here. The guys here are cattier than a bunch of old prostitutes in a bordello rest-home. :)

My hamster is pining for the fjords :D

That poor PaulUSA guy lives a rather sad life doesn't he?

Thanks SBK for the above mention and a kiss for Moss too!!

Penile-vaginal penetration in broad daylight in the Pedernales river, at the state park. Finger in the pie, church swimming pool. Gay sex, in the water, often.

Thought this was a great turn of phrase, very amusing! Especially when you take it out of context like this. :)

From here.

I am seriously considering a drink though, thanks. That's what's wonderful about ThaiVisa... you're never really drinking "alone" in your office at noon.

:)

Any Posters able to give me advice about going to nana plaza bars

Is that a town or a euphemism?

This thread has already received one nomination, but here's another :)

Since namoo appears to be aircrew, he might be interested in this revelation by an American aircraft mechanic ...

Some commercial jets, at least in the USA, are being rigged to spray chemicals unknown from fake, hollowed-out static discharge wicks on the wings' trailing edges.

Don't under-estimate the power of the globalist banking élite (New World Order). They are very smart and buy off the people they need to. Contrails are a perfect cover for their spraying operations as far as the mass of the sheeple are concerned.

Also watch out for HAARP, ionospheric VLF heaters in Alaska and Norway, which cause cloud effects like this ...

Trust me, our weather is under assault by the US military, especially now as their fake 'global warming' scenario fails to pan out.

:):cheesy:

Avoid fruits and nuts. You are what you eat

Wait shouldn't that be?

Avoid fruits and nuts, you are who you eat.

I'd say you were unlucky to meet a corrupt cop.Never happened to me in many years.Despite the rumors,i think the great majority of the Police force are respectable guys which happen to know that tourism is an important source of income for Thailand.

If you are in trouble you can rely on Police to help you.

I think you did the right thing, now the corrupt cop will think twice before trying to extort money from tourists.

Anyway, whether you are right or wrong,it's worth to keep your cool and be positive. smile.gif

:)

Come on guys!

I am not the "I love Thailand and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it" type; yes there are Scams here, but many of them can be avoided by using a bit of common sense.

Surely anyone who hires a car with known damage, or with a tank not completely full, without getting the situation fully documented is asking for trouble any anywhere in the world.

These cases are not Scams, you made an elementary mistake and simply want to find someone else to blame.

I usually have enough change to avoid them rounding up. If the total is, say, 223.25 I'll give them 3.25 first and then 300.
That's a nice tip.

Aghh you remembered! Not amongst the ex-strays. But yes, it is still acute with our Fox terrier.

As soon as I have mastered my camera I will make a new post which

will help identify to anyone interested if their dog has a Toad snorting habit.

Is this a record?

No, it's a forum.

Records are round and shiny - this is square and whiney

You may well laugh Tonto but once while using an upcountry petrol station crapper I started to wobble a bit in the crouched position. I put my hand on the concrete trough for water to steady myself. The trough was a bit rickety on its foundations itself so I slipped and my arse fell straight into the toilet with my legs straight out in front of me.

The horror. I must have spent half an hour just washing my nether regions in the shower when I got home.

the wealthy will be unhappy but prepared to change their minds once they get to know the partner and realise that their daughter/son will be loved and well cared for.

For me, as a wealthy individual, I will be completely disappointed if my daughter chooses to marry someone from the same culture with whom I can understand and communicate with. Ideally, my daughter will marry someone from one of those off the map tribal villages in the middle of the jungle of some island that they just discovered thirty to forty years ago and are still trying to convince to stop sacrificing children. I can't think of anything worse than her marrying someone who grew up in the town over. Its so, how do you say, boring and unoriginal the way most people choose to marry within their culture. Think of all the humerus cross culture experiences you miss out on, like "Someone tell Sushada's new husband that he is chewing on ginger and lemon grass and to only eat the water" or "Can someone please translate what my grand daughter just said to me?" and "That's great that you are moving 9,000 km away. I look forward to sight seeing in Spokane Idaho."

Carrots, they scream too.

Problem is, people identify McD with some sort of international cultural imperialism.

IMO, this is so last century.

Probably the Thai franchisee did a market study, and was able to get this location. Not rocket science. There is obvious a market for this, otherwise they wouldn't have opened. These people didn't become a mega company by being dumb.

I haven't eaten at McD in eons, and will not likely not do so soon.

I quit them when they changed their french fries oil from beef lard to a vegetable oil in the early 70's.

Bastids.... :D

To get back on thread, coffee at McD?

What a joke...I only consume Duang Dee Hilltribe, Extra Strong, Free Trade, Opium-Free, brewed with nominal carbon footprint water trekked in from a secret spring by Indian fakkirs. :)

Post of the day goes to McG :D

Yes they should be gotten rid of, but they never will - there are too many canny Thais, using computer programs like the one Richard Pryor used in Superman III, where he took all the fractions of a cent and sent them into a separate account. Lots of those guys doing that. They get the idea from Truevisions, which broadcasts Superman II every 12 hours, in order to prevent global warming, which is a myth according to many on TV. But at the root cause, I'm sure the PAD, Thaksin, the UDD, the Abhisit government, Kasit, and God, are those directly responsible for this mess. Did i cover all?

Oh, its also there because it enables Thais to charge double at the national parks to farangs. The Satang is to blame for all.
