They will always ask you to try a Thai based speed test.

Try this link and find out your real speed because Internet is International.

Then confront them with your results.

I tried that one and found that my CSLoxinfo connection gives me 279/105. I'm paying for 512/256 .... :o

Seems to better than before my modem was fixed!

I have tot and all is well now. I have had problems in the past down for 1 1/2 month, they came out 3 times. Last time got it right and I haven't recieved a bill for internet service for 4 months. So just hoping I don't have to call when something goes wrong. Internet for free is nice. lol

Hi,

In 3 or 4 months our new house is ready in the moo baan Koolpunt ville 12, (The Castle)

Now i hear everytime that the speed depends how far you are from the office for speed of internet.

Is there anybody living on the Sangkapeng road near by Koolpunt ville?

If yes could you advice me which internet provider is the best with the highest speed in this area?

Thanks

FWIW... In my daily complaint call this morning, TT&T finally admitted that there is a problem with the international link. Wonder why they didn't tell me that 5 calls ago? :o

I would just bet, that they said something along the lines of, "This is all the fault of the Farangs ... not us here in LOS" ! :D

I just did the test and show a download of 1390kb/s and a upload of 439 kb/s..

I haven't got a clue on what these mean.. :o

Mine was slow on Saturday, but has been fine since.

I have CAT

Mine has improved dramatically in the last two days.

When I call I just wish that TT&T would tell me there is a problem with their infrastructure instead of insinuating my router settings are incorrect, or that I shouldn't leave it turned on!

Same here. Seems to be working basically okay now with just the occasional glitch.

I use virgin media 2 meg fibre optic broadband. I am dowloading at a whopping 200 kbs right now. I can also stream short bits of smut if I so desire. Problem is I am in crappy England and cant wait to get back to CM and the rubbish internet and useless customer services.

Hi

Dont know if it helps for you.

I rent a house, in the house is an old Belkin router.

I had problems, they came to look at the line in the house and they told me the router wasnt so good any more?

I bought a new router and now the speed is much higher without problems.

Unfortunaly my new router broke down yesterday, I did a test this morning and had 1.5MB after replacing the new router I had 2.7MB so it is a proof for me that this is a big possibility of lowering your speed.

A D link router will cost you around 1300THB, for the wireless network I bought an Belkin for 8500THB but for sure you can have much cheaper.

I bought the newest with bigest range so less problems with speed.

The 2.7MB was messured wireless.
