Been a couple of years since I was in Samui - whats the typical cost of dinner these days.... we'll say if you started walking along the beach in the evening between ark bar and family bungalows..... something like an average red snapper or something simple (not incl. the fancy stuff - king prawn etc.l)...... just on average?

THanks guys > nothing much has changed so...... sounds like a 1000 baht a day is still plenty for average grub (lunch, dinner, and in between) for me and the Mrs (Thai) - won't be dining in the Amari et al anyway - my Mrs. hates it ......

Out of curiousity, is "Ninja" is running?

It is amazing - I read quite alot about how expensive Samui has gotten.... yet hotel prices seem to be about the same, food is about the same.... and I would imagine you still get the 60baht bottle of beer in most pubs.... I've heard stories abotu Taxi's alright though.....

Beer is more like 80 Baht at bars! Normaly
