Hi there, I keep being told that at certain times they run cheap flights from Samui to Chiang Mai, however cheapest I can find is 7000 - 8000 BHT.

Anyone got any ideas on how to find these cheap flights? I am probably going to end up taking the train at that rate =P

You will have to fly from Bangkok. Air Asia and Nok Air.

Can fly to Bangkok from Surattani, Air Asia. Or get the train from Surattani to Bangkok.

Samui Airport is served by Bangkok Air and they are not cheap.
