Speeding Motorist Killed In Another

Speeding motorist killed in another Highway 36 road accident.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Pon from Banglamung Police Station along with Sawang Boriboon Rescue Workers were called to the scene of a fatal road accident which occurred on Highway 36 leading to Rayong Province, on Monday Night.

This single vehicle accident claimed the life of Khun Tanawong aged 25, a rescue volunteer from Singburi Province. When rescue workers arrived, the victim was still alive, however when he was removed from his Silver Toyota Vios, he passed away due to the extent of his injuries.

Police noticed the speedometer in the car was stuck on 160kms per hour and the revometer was stuck on 6,000 revolutions per minute, indicating the high rate of speed when the accident took place. Witnesses saw the car approach at speed and lose control. The car then collided with a sign on the side of the road.

Rather an ironic way to go given his profession. However knowing the way these chaps tend to drive, not entirely surprising.

The car doesn't even look smashed up badly, so most likely the bloke wasn't wearing his seatbelt...

Thank goodness the maniac took only himself out and not other innocent parties.
