Selling My Motorcycle

Featured Replies

I am selling my motorcyle in Thailand to someone in Thailand. I already have received the money. I am not living in Thailand at the moment but I am in posession of the green book for my motorcycle.

What do I and the buyer have to do with regards to this green book to get the motorcycle in his name.

Cheers

There several things YOU have to do:

1. Sign in the Vehicle book the readiness for transfer

2. Sign a separate document the allowance of transfer

3. A signed copy of the ID Card or Passport which was used to register in your name

4. hand over the documents and Vehicle book to the buyer.

The buyer has to go with doc mentioned above and the Vehicle to the Land and Transport Department where the Vehicle is registered. The buyer also need the Insurance Document for the Polabor Insurance (min. required Insurance for all vehicles registered in Thailand).

May the best would be to wait with the whole procedure until you back to Thailand.

Cheers.
