Hi folks,

I need to do per-employment medical here in Bangkok.

I have found a hospital, BNH Hospital on Convent Road, any body done this kind of check up there or any other info or tips about any other hospitals that may offer the same servise.

Thanks for your help.

Hi there:

The type of pre-employment medical check usually (but not always) involves just a chest X-ray to look for TB and the like. That's about it. They don't do blood screening or anything like that to my knowledge. Not really sure you have to go to a big hospital for it.

Cheers

I've tried them all and the best depends on what you want. Generally I was the least pleased with BNH but it is adequate for small things. It tries to rank itself with the likes of Bumrungrad but falls short. I prefer the mid-ranking ones for their lack of pretence and good value - Bangkok Christian Hospital on Silom is good. Nowadays I prefer St Louis on S Sathorn Road near Surasak BTS for routine things, but for really major check ups I like the Bumrungrad service.

Hi Folks,

Thanks for your help, however time was against me and I had to go to BNH.

I am pleased to say they were very good, I would go back if required.
