The Unforgiven :o

Moves abroad,

I don't think we will see many tears shed.

Blackburn fans have got to be happy about this seeing as he was linked with the Top job there

That said, in the spirit of fair play...good luck to the guy, probably a good move for him, had he stayed in England he would probably have got a lot of stick wherever his team played

Rebuilding his reputation in the back waters of the Dutch league was probably his best bet anyway.

Either that or the Conference :o

Can you imagine any Premier team taking him and being able to face their paying customers?

They should have got Bill McClaren, much more inspirational :o Just goes to show the FA knew FA when they appointed him.

While I wish him no harm he was a arrogant nugget

He got enough out of England and still has the arrogance to think he was hard done by - I would not let him manage a egg boiling. He wanted a premiership job bhwaaaaaa

Yes , he's an annoying whiner. Yes, he's arrogant (a prerequisite for any football managers job). But too be fair, he said he'd be more than happy to take a Championship job. Another Premiership job would be the equivalent of awarding Adolf Hitler the Nobel Peace Prize.

I accept that football supporters are by our very nature an unforgiving species -- but I refuse to accept that McClaren was singularly responsible for inflicting more destruction on the England team than the Luftwaffe did on London. That responsibility lays on who gave him the job in the first place.

I was about to let off a huge rant about him being fully responsible then i read this, if you appointed a monkey to do brain surgery it wouldnt be the monkeys fault if it all went wrong.
