Yes , he's an annoying whiner. Yes, he's arrogant (a prerequisite for any football managers job). But too be fair, he said he'd be more than happy to take a Championship job. Another Premiership job would be the equivalent of awarding Adolf Hitler the Nobel Peace Prize.

I accept that football supporters are by our very nature an unforgiving species -- but I refuse to accept that McClaren was singularly responsible for inflicting more destruction on the England team than the Luftwaffe did on London. I was about to let off a huge rant about him being fully responsible then i read this, if you appointed a monkey to do brain surgery it wouldnt be the monkeys fault if it all went wrong.
