Long Term Car Parking

Featured Replies

Hi all, anyone have any ideas on costings of Long Term Car Parking at Suvarnabhumi for up to possibly 3 weeks ??

I recently left my car in the long term car park for 6 days and it cost me 850 Baht. I would probably not use it again. For shorter trips I will use the terminal car park at 250 baht per day otherwise I will use a taxi.

Why?

Hardly any cars in the long term parking which is not shaded. Few customers so crap service or is it the other way round?

You have to bring your baggage to the shuttle bus which stops outside the car park (on the other side of the road), there is no dedicated shuttle - If you are not travelling alone I would stop at the bus stop and deposit everyone and everything there, then park the car and walk back.

Worse is on the way from the terminal back to the car park you have to change buses at the transportation centre - yes all your luggage off one bus onto the other, only to be dropped at least 200 metres from where your car is parked - and of course it is the rainy season.

So there you have it - I think taking a cab would be more convenient and cheaper - for 3 weeks taking a limo would be cheaper!

This was good, confirms my suspicions (based on other posts earlier) about the LT car park. Any intention to use it canned.

A cab cheaper?

It depends from where. I am sure the price a cab charge you from Surat-Thani, you can parl a long time.....

From Samui... :o

My problem is that the Surat -BKK Flight would get in far too early as my Flight out of BKK is at 06:50 in the morning ( checking in from 03:50 onwards ) but it's a killer if i drive the 10 hours or so, get the Surat Flight & wait in the Airport for an etenioty or get ripped for 12k by Bangkok Airways for me, the Missus & little one considering the last Flight Promotion is NEVER available..

Thanks, I agree; what another example of Thailand prices. I think it's cheaper to park in the airport in Hilo, Hawaii :o
