Man Robbed by Police Impersonators

A young Thai man, Mr. Virapon walked into Pattaya Police Station on the morning of the 1st July to report that he had been robbed by two men dressed in official style uniforms impersonating police officers.

He stated that they pulled him over on North Road to make a search. As they could not find anything illegal they demanded he take them to his home for further searching.

However, on the way, they stopped in a dimly lit and deserted area and robbed him of his belongings.

Quite difficult to say whether they were fake old bill or not.

Quite difficult to say whether the story is old bull or not.

Makes a change from ther usual Pattaya headline

"Foreigner robbed by Female impersonator"

(or perhaps they were dressed as lady-cops?)
