77 fake branded items seized in Police raid on South Pattaya Department Store

On Friday Night, Police Lieutenant Colonel Somshanock from the Economic and Cyber Crime Division of the Royal Thai Police led a team of officers to a Department Store on Pattaya Second Road to investigate reports that fake branded items were being sold at the location.

The team of officers arrived and arrested one vendor and seized 77 shoulder bags and purses sporting well know brand names. The items were not the real thing and were subsequently seized in accordance with Copyright violation laws.

The 30 year old arrestee was later charged with copyright offences and will appear in court early next week.

It is just to keep the handbag lobby happy. I don't know why the genuine companies are bothered about inferior quality copies. Just how many Thai women own a genuine Louis Vuitton handbag? If they did, why?

On the bright side, I never fear theft of my genuine Swiss watch, because 99.9% of people think it's a fake.

they seized 3245 items but ony 77 made it back to the copshop ...........a lot of bibs families gonna be happy with what papa brought home that night.........or maybe they say"not another bloody versace handbag" in thai ofcourse.
