Hiring Mountain Bike In Samui

Featured Replies

Hi another query for all you locals....thinking of hiring a decent mountainbike to potter about ( i ride a lot here in the UK) , years ago when I last visited Samui I hired a moped and regularly toured the island - is it possible to pushbike round? My memory is it used to take about an hour on the moped but they were hazy days! Is there anywhere decent to hire and how much would it daily or weekly ?

cheers guys

There is one company who rents and sells high quality mountainbikes. They also organise trips in the "undiscovered" parts of samui. I drive by their shop daily.

I will visit them tomorrow and let you know.

There are many places on Samui to rent a mountain bike and are ususally around 80 baht per day. The Honda Dreams etc 100-125cc are around 150 baht per day or 120 baht per day if you rent for a week or around 300 baht per month for a monthly rental. Also all over the place.

Correction make that 3000 per month Doh!!!
