18 Year old Woman caught stealing from Tesco-Lotus.

On Tuesday Night, Security Guards working at the North Pattaya branch of Tesco Lotus detained an 18 year old woman accused of shoplifting.

Police Sergeant Chayamat was sent to investigate and was presented with the evidence, 10 packets of coffee and 20 cans of Leo Beer.

Khun Tipawan was taken to Pattaya Police Station but claimed that she initially decided to steal the items but changed her mind at the last minute and was happy to pay for items; however Security Guards had detained her before she had a chance to pay.

Police did not believe her story and the young woman was charged with theft and will appear in court next week.
