Man Confesses to Improper Activities with Minor.

Late on Friday night a 41-year-old Thai man was brought to Banglamung Police Station where he confessed to engaging in improper sexual activities over a period of a month with a 10-year-old Thai girl.

Police were alerted to the man’s actions by the parents of the 10-year-old. They had noticed their daughter had become withdrawn and reclusive in recent weeks, where previously she had been lively and outgoing.

After pressing her to explain why her mood had changed she told her parents that a family friend who had been allowed to pick her up from school each day was taking her back to his room. Here he would engage in solitary masturbation after undressing the girl. Naturally incensed, the parents went to the police to file a complaint.

The 10-year-old victim has been sent for a physical examination by medical practitioners to determine if she has been raped by the man. Even if the results of this are negative, the man will face legal proceedings which could result in his incarceration.
