Police arrest drug dealer and fake Police Officer.

Police Colonel Nopadon, the Chief of Pattaya Police oversaw a press conference held at Pattaya Police Station in the early hours of Saturday Morning where he announced two cases undertaken by Undercover Police.

The first relates to the seizure of Yabba Tablets and the arrest of a suspected drug dealer. Khun Nantowat aged 30 was arrested on the Sukumvit Road in Na-Jomtien sub-district and was found to be in possession of 1,400 Yabba Tablets. He was caught following a tip-off from a Police Informant. He is now facing a lengthy spell in prison if found guilty of class 1 drug dealing offences in court.

The second case presented to the media took place in Soi Gopai, South Pattaya and led to the arrest of Khun Pairee aged 26 who was allegedly impersonating a Police Officer to others in the street. He was arrested and was found to be in possession of a plastic gun and 2 Yabba Tablets. Furthermore, he was known to be extorting cash from local residents on a regular basis. Khun Pairee has been charged with impersonating a Police Officer and extortion and is due in court early next week.
