Expat Golfers In Korat

I expect to be moving to Korat after living in Pattaya for two years. Does anyone know of any organised golf groups in Korat playing friendly competitions? Or any regular farang meeting places frequented by golfers who play regularly?

In Korat have many gold club near Khao Yai (Mission hill,..)and another one in Sikieuw district (Voyage Panorama), in Sikieuw is nice, 18 holes, 2500 Rai and if you want to know the golf groups beter to go there and ask reception, I saw a lot foreigners playing golf there, some group from Korea go there every year for one or two months and another group are foreigners who live in or near Korat.

I live East of Korat & play at Korat Country Club once a week with a mixed ability group.

I don't know about the many clubs west

Oh and you get 20% discount if you show a visa card, you don't have to use it.

So Green fee 640, compulsory Caddy 200 and tip 200. Total 1040.

The course is in great condition

Thanks for the info. I will be moving in Feb/Mar 09. I have made some contacts via the George and Dragon Pub and Friends Bar in Korat. Anything more would be most welcome.
