11,400 Yabba Tablets seized in two related cases in Banglamung.

On Tuesday Morning, Police Colonel Jamnong, the Deputy Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police hosted a press conference in front of Banglamung Police Station to announce the arrest of 3 people and the seizure of 11,400 Yabba Tablets.

Two separate cases were presented to the gathered media; the first led to the arrest of Khun Raiwat aged 30 and his girlfriend, Khun Machar aged 31. They were arrested outside an apartment block only meters away from Banglamung Police Station following information from an informant that the pair were in the process of distributing a large quantity of Yabba Tablets which were hidden in empty tubes of cream kept in the boot of their car.

Following the arrest, 11,200 Yabba Tablets were found in the boot and concealed within the empty tubes of Hemorrhoid Cream. Both have been charged with dealing in class 1 drugs and may face the death penalty if the courts decide to impose the maximum penalty for their crime if they are convicted.

The second case led to the arrest of Khun Sutipan aged 42 who was arrested in Soi Kow Tha Low. He was caught following information received from the first two arrestees. This suspect was caught with 200 Yabba Tablets which he intended to sell to local customers by his own admission.

He is also facing class 1 drug dealing charges and will appear in court later this week.
