Any Super Motard For Sell?...

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I've been looking for a Suzuki DRZ 400SM for few weeks now but nothing on the market now... the only way i found is to import from Japan so far...

Any ideas about shops (in or outside bkk) which sell super motard 400cc up?

cheers

Paul

I might be able to source one if the price was high.. say 280 ish.. Depends if a buddy is incountry on rotation or not ??

The D-Tracker SM listed.. Are we not supposed to be able to buy that direct from dealers now ?? Or any second ??

There are a few you can check online:

www.redbaronbkk.com

www.tpmotorcycle.com

There's 2 super motards listed at TP

Yep, went to see them last time, the new Honda XR400 2008 cost 350,000 and the D-Tracker 2005 cost 140,000.

They can import me the Suzuki DRZ 400SM from Japan but still looking within Thailand for the moment.

Cheers

Usually Red Baron quote prices already plated.

If you use TP (Teera) keep one hand on your wallet. It is no surprise they don't list prices on their website. They'll size you up & ask for as much as they think you can pay.

Yep but if u buy a bike in red baron now u're not sure to have the green book before a few months as they've lost their contacts at Land & Transport Department... Teera makes re-used Green Book for 30,000 Baht or new ones with different prices depending on ur engine size within a month max.

Agree. Personally I would buy from Red Baron. Only the bike I can actually see. It takes as long as it takes.

One thing I know for sure. Vikrom won't sell a bike without registration.

His legal exposure would be huge & I expect one incident would mean the end of his job.

200 - 220 is about a second hand price yeah..

My understanding is this will be a 1000 - 5000km almost new.. Fresh plated bike.. I will ask prices but finding one is chasing.. nothing for nothing if you know what I mean..

Yes sure... i missed the 2 offers during last month, there was a good deal in Pattaya... do u know any shops in pattaya where they sell dirt bikes? I might have to go down there tomorrow so I can stop by the shops to have a look (if any).

cheers.

Patts is where I would source one.. You should be able to find something there.

HF has something but i dont think i'll go for it.

No i dont but I have a mate up there sometimes whose been checking the market.. He can find the nearly new ones but by the time hes hunted something down, made sure its clean booked, and had a drink for his trouble.. Theres your mid to high 200's price depending on bike conditions.

Good luck.. They are nice machines, kinda like one myself but think there might be a few more 250 style SMs on the market in a year so expect a bit of price compression.
