An Indonesian friend visiting me here in Thailand has a one month (Asean) entry stamp due to expire on the 21st of this month. As I'd like him to remain longer, can he get a one month extension frrom the local immigration office (Koh Samui)?

He might get a week or 10 days extension, but not a month.

He should have applied for a 60 day tourist visa before arriving.
