Two Arrested Following An Early Morning Bag-snatch

2 arrested following early morning bag snatch in Jomtien.

On Friday Morning, Pattaya Police received an urgent call to attend the scene of a bag snatch which had taken place at an intersection in front of the Jomtien Grand Condo on Jomtien Beach Road.

The victim of the snatch was Khun Pecharat aged 27 who works at a Beer Bar in South Pattaya. She was riding her motorbike back to her home with her friend riding as passenger when a further motorbike driven by Khun Pasan aged 23 and his Girlfriend pulled up beside them and he proceeded to snatch Khun Pecharat’s handbag.

Police were quickly on-scene and began a search of the area. The pair were discovered hiding at a nearby construction site and were duly arrested. They were still in possession of the victim’s handbag. The pair were taken to Pattaya Police Station and charged with theft
