Pattaya Police Press Conference announces class 1 drug arrests and capture of suspected motorbike thieves.

On Thursday Afternoon at the Car park of Pattaya Police Station, Police Colonel Nopadon, the Chief of Pattaya Police conducted a press conference to announce the results of a number of cases investigated by his undercover unit.

The press conference featured two cases of motorbike theft and three cases involving class 1 drugs. We begin with a case involving Khun Somporn aged 25 who was caught with a blue bag containing 200 Yabba Tablets in front of a house in Sriracha District approximately 35 kms outside of Pattaya.

Following her arrest, information gathered led to the arrest of two further suspected drug users and dealers, Khun Suksan aged 27 who was arrested in Soi Gopai, South Pattaya and found to be in possession of 200 Yabba Tablets and Khun Wattana aged 25 who was caught with two packets of Crystal Methamphetamine known here in Thailand as “Ya-Ice” in Soi Sukumvit 63.

The Colonel also presented Khun Rattana aged 40 and a 17 year old suspect, both of which were suspected of stealing motorbikes. Khun Rattana had been stealing motorbikes here in Pattaya and sending them to Cambodia on a regular basis and was caught transporting one of the bikes which had been earlier stolen from Soi Yensabai in South Pattaya.

All the suspects are now in custody and awaiting court appearances.
