I am looking for a toy. I would like a convertible, preferably a mustang or other US import. It can be in need of TLC. Anyone know where to look?

Thank you

Cassic Garage. Highway 36. Most of them are restauration project. Make sure papers are ok. If you are in Bangkok you can go see Mister Narong. Expensive, but he is the only one who have arround 200 Project Cars, he have a Buick Riviera , i think it's a 1966 model, convertible at Lam Lu Ka, outiside Bangkok

Thank you

Narong i don't have any phone numbers anymore. I bought two Trans Ams from him, but it was a couple years ago. He is located at rearside of Suan Luang Park, near Sri Nakarin Road. But he have another Sow location at Bang Na Trat Highway, which is easy to find. I can explain to you: If you drive from Bangkok to Chombury, just on the begin of the Bang Na Trat Highway, dont go on the elevated Tollway, just stay at the fronage road leftside, pass the Central Shopping Centre, after 1 km you'll pass the intersection Sri Nakarin - Bang Na Trat. Another couple hundert meter you'll find a big car center on your lefthand side. Than you' ll see some American Cars at a Shoroom. Go there and ask for Mister Narong. don't deal with the staff. They are very uneducated and know absolutely nothing about cars. Narong usally isn't there, ask for his phone number.

What year Trans Am's did you buy? What kind of price range? Were they already registered or did they come with necessary paperwork to register?

No they was already registered. One was a 1978 and the second one was a 1979 model (Glas T- tops). For the first one i payd 270'k, for the second one 350'k. Both car i had restored. So i ended up over 600'k each one. Both of them was project cars. I could drive them when i bought them, but not that far. Engine and suspension was in a terrible shape. One overheated and the other one used 3 liter oil of hundert km. If you buy a car from Naron, espect to repair everything. From the suspension to the engine, all. But i don't complain. I know the coming troubles, when i bought them. There is just no chance to find a car like this. Only Narong have this kind of cars. Paperwork was all correct, no troubles at all.

Sorry i don't have phone numbers anymore. As i said> You should easly find Central Shopping Center in Bang Na, about 5 km after end of Sukhumvit, direction Bang Na Chonbury. Drive same way as i mention before. left hand side you will easly find the very big Central City Shopping Complex, after that you'll see Big C, keep going straight about 3 km. Drive under the overpass which goes to samut prakan. So soon as you passed under the overpass, keep looking on the left hand side. You'll see a very big used car center and there in the last of the frontplaces is Narongs sales place. BTW, Narong isnt' the boss, only the manager.
