Vocational Training In Isaan

Featured Replies

I am interested in having my fiance attend some type of vocational training school. What is is will depend on what's available and on what she is interested in. I'm thinking hairdressing, office support (secretarial). Maybe I'm limiting so any other suggestions would be welcome.

We are currently in Udon Thani but may be moving to Khon Kaen. I am interested in the vocational training schools available in Isaan, in general.

Thanks.

Tony

You will not believe the amount and kind of courses, trainings, schools, and colleges there will be available if you relocate to Khon Kaen.

Spend a day in Khon Kaen, walk around in the centre, ask some knowledgable tuktuk pilot, and you will be "on he rocks".

For office training, ECC will be a good one to start, for IT and language, not very cheap, but very good.

If you arrive by bus in KK, after passing the town gate, look to your left, the ECC office is there, with a big red signboard on the building.

2500 baht for 36 3-hour courses in Word, Excel and Powerpoint is not really expensive.

8000 baht for a parcel of software courses geared to operating, designing and making websites, doing photoshop, an so on might sound a lot of money.

But it is worth the outlay.

I can recommend, my daughter did both parcels, plus English, and it was worth the time and money.

For vocational training look around the centre of KK, much to offer.
