Student-bus Crashes Into A Motorbike

STUDENT BUS CRASHES INTO A MOTORBIKE, RIDER KILLED INSTANTLY.

40 high school students on a bus had encountered an awful accident when an unfortunate motorbike rider cut in front of the bus. The bus driver had slammed on the brake strongly but could not avoid crashing into the motorbike. Poor motorbike rider had flown up to hit and brake the front windscreen of the bus and bounced off to the other side of the road, dead instantly.

Sawang Rojanathamasathan Rescue, Sattahip, Chonburi, was notified by rescue volunteers on August 12th, 2008, that there was an accident occurred on Road No. 331, around 10th kilometers between Sattahip pier and Navy base. A white bus, license 31-6488, Bangkok, driven by Mr.Panom Janyorsaeng (36), from Nakornpathom province, had crashed into a bronze Honda Wave, license 982, Chonburi. Mr. Kasem Mekmork (67), the motorbike rider, from Sattahip, had ridden out of Soi Sea Turtle Conservation Center of Air fighter and Shore Watcher Commanding Office. Mr. Kasem was hit and crashed against the bus windscreen, then bounced off to the other side of the road and dead instantly.

Pol.Lt.Col. Jaruen Withitkorakul, Sattahip investigator, had rushed to the incident and investigated Mr. Panom Janyorsaeng, the bus driver. Mr. Panom had driven the bus of Prapathom College, from Nakornpathom province, to take high school students to see Jakri Narubes Royal Navy Ship. While the bus was coming along the road No. 331, Sattahip pier routing, before the turning point into Air fighter and Shore Watcher Commanding Office, Mr. Kasem Mekmork , the victim, was riding out of the Soi rapidly. Meanwhile, the bus was coming down hill with a high speed then crashing into the motorbike and caused the motorbike rider dead.

Mr. Panom, the bus driver, also added that at the time when he saw the motorbike was cutting front of the bus, he tried to concentrate to avoid crashing but he could only slammed on the brake because if he turned the wheels away, the bus might have lost control and over turned then the next thing would be the risk of life of 40 students on the bus. He did try his best to control the bus to safe the student's lives, the youth of the country. Mr. Panom added.
