Proton Thrashes Toyota In Thailand

Featured Replies

Bira circuit Pattaya Sat 16th Aug. In a field of similar perfomance cars mainly vios & yaris a Proton Neo won after 17 laps. The car quilified 3rd and ran in that position for the first approx 13 laps before overtaking two vios' one new model one old to pull away and win easily!. I bet any Toyota management watching were choking on their noodles, especially as it could have done it again on Sunday until body/radiator damage caused it to drop back to a 'dry' 6th.

I watched the race also, impressed. But those modified cars can not reflect the performance of mass production cars, only modification technic.

it still does not make me want to buy a Proton Neo though.
