Taiwanese Man arrested as part of weekend drug crackdown.

On Sunday Afternoon at Pattaya Police Station, Police Colonel Nopadon, the Chief of Pattaya Police held a press conference to announce the arrest of two individuals caught in possession of class 1 drugs.

The first case involves a Taiwanese National; Mr. Liu Cheng On aged 34 who was arrested on the 15th floor of Building A of View Talay 1 Condominiums in Jomtien.

An informant gave information to Police concerning the foreign national which suggested he was keeping drugs inside his apartment. A search warrant was issued and his room was searched. A total of 8.3g of Crystal Methamphetamine and 6.1g of Ketamine Powder were found in his room.

The second case involves Khun Tiwaporn aged 34 who was arrested following an undercover operation in the East of Pattaya. An officer posing as a buyer arranged to buy 300 Yabba Tablets from her, however she was actually carrying 440 Tablets with her when she was arrested. She is now facing serious class 1 drug dealing charges and both arrestees will appear in court later this week.
