The case of the crazy Italian and the wooden penis.

A bizarre case now from Pattaya Police Station.

In the early hours of Friday Morning, Tourist Police, based on Walking Street, brought in an Italian National accused of placing a wooden penis over the mouth of a Thai woman.

Mr. Francesco Munaretto aged 45 from Italy and the offending item, a Buddist Penis Amulet which is a religious object normally crafted by Monks which date back to the 8th Century A.D, were taken to the Station.

They are thought to bring good luck, however on Friday night the Penis Amulet owned by Mr. Munaretto led him straight to the prison cells. A complaint was made to the Tourist Police from Khun Pairin aged 19 and Khun Quantar aged 20 who claimed the man had thrust the wooden penis in the face of Khun Pairin after he had asked her if she was a man or a woman.

At this point the Tourist Police were called in who took the man to the Police Station. He was uncooperative throughout the investigation and Police decided to place the man behind bars for the night to give him some time to contemplate his actions. He was released the next morning with a warning.

Another scam where the poor thai aldy is insulted and wants some compensation.When my friends come over i warm them now not to even grab a thai girl in fun else they can could be in the local nick for sexual assault,sounds a bit like what some european women do.

hmm yes cause it is such a laugh & lot of "fun" to grab at women without their permission. But I'm sure there are some more princes around that think that shoving a wooden dick in some poor womens face is just a bit of fun. But thankfully thai women are hitting back at these "funny" guys.

totaly agree boo,no one has the right to do that whether they are bank managers or a hardened hooker.The point i make to my friends is that there IS a scam going on with SOME thai ladies and to be very careful what you do.I treat ALL women with respect unless they lose that respect.

Tax, I agree, he should have got a caution & after an apology to the women sent on his way but I read the article to mean that he was held due to being uncooperative rather than at the womens instigation.

Dunno bad behaviour needs extreme measures.... perhaps the punishment was over the top, but I dare say he prob won't be acting like a wanke_r in the future!
