Tourists who come to Pattaya lose valuable items on a daily basis. Sometimes, these items are lost forever, however on occasion; these items are found and retuned to their rightful owner. This is one such story from a Traffic Police Box in Lan Pow in Naklua. On Friday Morning, Khun Somshai aged 42 was walking inside Soi 14 off the Naklua Road when he spotted a bag near the side of the road. He looked inside and found Thai and Foreign Currency inside, and also Passports and mobile phones. He took the bag to the Police Box, and Police Senior Sergeant Major Jumlong made some enquiries and discovered the Indonesian owner of the bag was staying at the Ibis Hotel on Pattaya Second Road. He had gone to play some Golf and was contact by Police as he reached the 14th Tee. The Tourist was later reunited with the bag and Khun Somshai and the two traffic police officers were praised for their actions.
