Large Pump Testing / Repair And Maintenance

Featured Replies

I am new to this forum and hope this is an appropriate post and place to post. If not apologies, and please advise how best to do it.

I have recently moved to Thailand after working in the water supply and treatment business in the UK, for one of the large utilities there.

I have the opportunity to become involved in pump testing of large pumps such as would be used by large water supply companies and industrial concerns, pumping water, raw materials, oil etc.

Can anyone advise how i can contact the companies who supply new pumps or who repair and refurbish old pumps for these markets?

We are talking here about pumps that consume at least 25 kW preferably 100 kW otherwise the economics of testing are poor.

They need to be in operation for a large part of the time....say 4000 hours per year plus - sewage pumps for example are not generally worth testing due to the low hours.

Thanks
