BIG MOTORBIKE GANG ARREST WITH WEAPONS

Due to motorbike gang members have been going around on Sukhumvit road and the city area, causing daily problem to Pattaya residential and visitors. Police quickly had followed up and managed to arrest the troublemakers.

On Sep 2nd, 2008, at 2 pm. Pol.Col.Nopadol Wongnon, Pattaya superintendent, Chonburi, Pol.Lt.Col.Supachat Piem-manus, deputy suppression superintendent, Pol.Maj. Chalermsak Thienthongsri, deputy investigating superintendent, Pol.Capt. Wuthiphong Thabsang and police team, revealed the news of arresting the suspects who were members of "NAKLUA GANG” who shot their enemy and also injured other people.

The 6 arrested suspects were: Mr. Kovit Tagaew or nickname "Go" (17), Mr. Juthawat U-tokasiri or nickname "Jack" (16), Mr.Wacharin Janmo or nickname "Joke", (17), Mr.Prachaya Komkrut or nickname "Tle" (16), Mr. Adisak Sutin or nickname "Jo" and Mr. Upaphong Nil-bpo-thong or nickname "Tum" (16), all from Chonburi.

Police confiscated 2 of .9mm guns with 3 bullets and 2 of 7.65 mm gunshot, a green Nissan pickup truck, license No. 2p 46, Bangkok and 7 motorbikes. They were all charged for "Joining to kill others, joining to possess guns and bullets without permission"

Police added that, after the commanded investigation team, led by Pol.Maj. Chalermsak Thienthongsri, searching and questioning the injuries and found out that the suspects were "Naklua gang", who had the residence in Naklua district, police then followed up and managed to arrest the suspects and confiscated 4 guns with bullets.

Mr. Kovit or nickname "Go", one of the gang members, confessed that, on the night, they were searching for Mr. Tao Pachajeen or "Tao Naklua", his enemy, who had become estranged for a long time, but they could not find Mr. Tao, but accidentally, they had found the member of Mr. Tao Pachajeen gang, outing on motorbikes then he released his anger by shooting and injuring many of them.

However, during the news release, Mr. Thanwa Rasri (16), who was another victim and shot by this motorbike teen gang, had come to identify the suspects as well.

At the end of the news release, police firmly assured to get rid of the young motorbike gangs as fast as possible.
