DRUNKEN GUY HACKS ON COLLEAGUE‘S HEAD DUE TO PARENTS INSULTED

Drunken construction workers had engaged into a fighting challenge. One of them insulted his colleague‘s father. The hot-tempered guy grabbed a chopping knife and hacked on the insulter‘s head. Police detained the attacker to calm down in jail.

At 00.30, on September 3rd, 2008, Pol.Lt.Col. Thawatchai Sudsakorn, Pattaya investigator, was informed that drunken construction workers had a fight and there was an injury. The incident occurred at a construction camp in Soi Thai U-dom, North Pattaya and Soi Bpotisarn, Moo 5, Naklua, Banglamung, Chonburi.

Mr.Surasak Rakwicha (26), from Sra-gaew province, had sustained 2 wounds on his head and one on his left shoulder. He was bleeding and still drunk, waiting for help. His wife was crying with distress.

Mr.Surasak told police that Mr. Monthon Ananrum (24), a carpenter from Burirum province, used a chopping knife to hack on his head. They had some drinks together and started to have an argument then ended up into fighting. Mr. Monthon grabbed a chopping knife to hack and injure him. Police immediately cooperated with Sawang Boriboon rescue to take the injury to Banglamung hospital.

Police found Mr. Monthon, the attacker, was still drinking with friends in the construction camp. He claimed that he did not attack anyone, but the witness had identified him to the police. Police detained Mr. Monthon and confiscated the evidence of a one-foot-long knife, which he was stalled and finally confessed that he hacked on Mr. Surasak's head because the victim was noisy and insulted his parents. Mr. Monthon was detained to calm down in jail.

:D <deleted> - sometimes thai(s) are borderline primitive.

I agree with you, even though this could happen anywhere. but it does seem to happen a lot here. :o hacking on your friends head? some strange people about...

The same story is running in another thread and the strange thing is the excuse used by the accused, Mr Monton, is different in each story! :o

not with those sort of weapons... :o

Does it matter which sort of weapon?

Read this article : http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/art...year/article.do

And that's only for the first 4 months of the year.

cheers

Great Link, but without being hacked to death by the Thaivisa PC patrol, most of these Stabbings are Black on Black crime or caused by NON UK citizens..........

My cousin works for the City of London Police, and on a typical day, they will not even arrest an original UK citizen.....but would have a case file of over 120 arrests in one day!!!..........

But hey this is the UK for you :D
