Hotel Near The Chatuchak Market

Featured Replies

Which hotel is nearest to Chatuchak Weekend Market?

How far is from Rama Gardens to Chatuchak?

Thanks in advance for the reply(ies) :o

Theres no real need to stay near the market as its right next to Mor Chit skytrain stop and easily accessible from anywhere on the skytrain eg Sukhumwit or Silom.

Rama Gardens isn't too far away from Chatuchak.

Rama Gardens is about 8kms from Chatuchak Market, about 15 minutes depending on traffic, maybe longer on the weekend.

Sofitel Central Plaza is probably the closest upmarket hotel. There are a couple closer, Elizabeth, and Pradiphat along Pradiphat Road. No idea what they're like.

As well as the skytrain there is also the subway which stops even closer to the market.

There are several two-star hotels along Pradiphat Road: the Elizabeth and the Pradiphat (as mentioned above), also the Karnmanee Palace and Mido. Agree that Sofitel Central Plaza is the best hotel nearby, perhaps four star.
