Woman Attacked And Injured By Neighbour

Woman attacked and injured by neighbor over alleged theft of drugs.

On Thursday Evening, Police and rescue workers were called to an area of land behind the Tamsamakee Temple in South Pattaya to investigate reports of a fight in progress.

At the scene, rescuers attended to Khun Jomjai aged 36 who sustained superficial injuries. She explained that she had just been discharged from Hospital and as she walked back to her house, she was approached by a neighbor, Khun Him aged 35 who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. He was armed with a plank of wood and proceeded to attack Khun Jomjai.

During the attack he claimed that the victim stole Yabba tablets from him. When he had finished the attack he left Khun Jomjai with a warning that unless she returns the Tablets, she would be killed. Apparently the attacker has caused problems in the area many times and Police are searching for him as a matter of urgency.
