Guest House Accomodation East Of Cr

Does anybody know of any guest house/budget accomodation in the Pasang/ ban Lao area. I am likely to be there later this year for 2 months. Too long and costly to hold up in a hotel. Has anyone come across a short term house let in that area. I was in Pasang some years ago and the only accomadation I found was the Waterford golf club hotel at 3,500 baht per night. That was 2 years back and the area may have changed.

We have been going to Waterford from town a couple of times a month last 6 years and I have seen none guesthouse or hotel on the road.

But where is "Pasang/ ban Lao area" more exactly? Cannot find it on any maps or in Google Earth.

But I am quite sure you can get a much better price in Waterford if you sign up for 2 months. A friend stayed there years ago for a long time and for sure he did not pay 3500 baht/night.
