haroldc
Help! There seems to be no solid information available on what the status of Treaty of Amity businesses will be after 31 December. Does anybody know anything "for sure"? I've heard that Treaty companies will be grandfathered. Just "heard"... I have a consulting business under the Treaty as a sole proprietor. Will my business be grandfathered too? My work permit has my employer listed as myself. Every year, I have to write a letter that says I will continue to use my own services. When I fill in the salary part of the form, I've always put in N/A because I'm self-employed. Will I be able to renew my work permit, which expires 22 January? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Sunbelt Asia
Relax...nothing changes for you. You will still get a work permit as long as you have a visa, extension of stay permit or residency. www.sunbeltasia.com
