Hi . . just install v9 Thai maps for Garmin on my Nokia N95-2 , But.... i dident get any POI ...... any 1 had same problem ?

All I can suggest is to change the map display scale.

The Thai version has the address search function,don't know why the English version doesn't have it.Probably has to do something with the fact that it would be useless anyway due to the spelling differences.

I think most translations from Thai to English have errors. I live near Asia Hotel at 'Ratchatewi' or 'Rajatewee' or 'Rachathewi' or 'Rajtaevee'.

Nobody can tell me how to write the correct name of that area.

In my GPS - if I key in 'Asia Hotel' it will find it. The rest you have to know.

Of course.Thailand streetmaps V9.0 is from Esri.I only don't know why you are confused because you can't have purchased it from Garmin.

Of course.Thailand streetmaps V9.0 is from Esri.I only don't know why you are confused because you can't have purchased it from Garmin.

I am not confused. I have V9, and it is from ESRI. Any further information is superfluous.

I will not need the map since I have it already,thanks for your offer.However unlocking a map is a piece of cake with the Garmin key generator.I only wonder,if you had the maps already,why you asked for them from another poster and then the next day have some for sale.

It all boils down to the Thailand map available for use with your GPS. Is there a Thailand map available for/from Sygic and is it auto-routing?

the map is available (03-2009 from tele atlas).

ofcourse it's door to door navigation.

there a windows, symbian, iphone and win-mobile version.

i'm in europe atm so i can't really test the thai map.

the european maps work great tho'.

better than TomTom imho.

I have telenav with AT&t and I can't live without it, literally. I have had a Garmin nuvi 750 and TomTom GO 720, and Telenav literally has at least twice the POI. I remember those expensive map updates too, telenav has FREE map, poi, voice, etc updates. I first saw telenav mentioned in the New York Times and then I went to their website: telenav.com $10/month is a great deal, especially considering it offers more features than a $600 standalone unit.

Yes, as essential as a mobile number & email address.
