Alphard Hybrid, Coming To Thailand 'officially' ?

Featured Replies

I've recently run into the possibility of buying a two year old Alphard Hybrid for about a million baht.

But I'm concerned about these issues:

1. Will Toyota sell Alphard Hybrid's in Thailand through their dealer networks ? If so how much will new ones cost?

2. Checking the net, it seems that Toyota is officially going to market the Alphard in the next few months in Thailand, but will discontinue the Alphard Hybrid in the new product year, is this true? If so why is the Hybrid being dropped? Gives one pause about buying one, doesn't it?

3. Maintenance - if Alpha Hybrids aren't officially sold here, will Toyota dealerships be able to service them?

4. Is 1 million baht a reasonable price for a 2 year old Alphard Hybrid (have to confirm the mileage on it)? I have to sell my 3 year old, low mileage(31K km) Diesel/Automatic Fortuner (what about 850K baht?).

Any constructive suggestions , comments are appreciated.

Thanks.

Put in a bid of 1.6 million and got it . Now I need an english language manual for the alphard hybrid . Anyone know where I can find one of these, if they even exist.

Turns out that the grey market importer, SEC, will service these and that battery sets cost about 80,000 baht to replace.
