Hi, does anybody know if they have any local football played in Phuket, anywhere. I used to enjoy going down to the local parks on a sunday morning to catch some of the games that were taking place and wouldn't mind doing the same out here, if possible. Not bothered about standards.

In Patong, on the beach road just past Club Andaman Resort (yes that horrible place where people keep falling off the balconies)/Rock City is quite a large field where the locals gather for footie. On the weekends I think there is actual club team competitions.

At Nai Hairn beach before you make the left to head to the beach there is also a field, on your righthandside where I see a lot of the Thai locals playing.

I'm unclear if you are an athlete or an athletic supporter.........
