As I have posted on the Pattaya forum there has been an exponential rise in the number of ladyboys in Pattaya and the rumour is that a lot were kicked out of Phuket.

well, in talking with a few of the chaps on Soi Katoey, I mean, Soi Bangla it seems they are getting a bit tired of being treated like zoo animals, people standing in the street and gawking at them dancing. Seems the overall male demographic in Phuket, tends to like their women to actually be women so business is tough.

Not so much "kicked out of Phuket" as they move on to Patters to handle their business, or handle someone else's business.

Hope they dragged the ladyboy out from Floyds eatery too, that was just one heck of a freak, totally miss placed at floyds.

Phuket is considerably more expensive than Bangkok & Pattaya, so it makes sense that if 1 special friend every 2 days is needed to survivive and the ratio drops to 1 every 4 or 5 days that the LB's are having to scramble for diminished resources and must go elsewhere.

Doubt anyone will shed a tear for a loss of this charming demographic segment. May their migration be peaceful with no broken fingernails or lost hair extensions.
